Overview of Bench>Press

Workflow

In order to meet the workflow needs of an editorial office, Bench>Press will conduct a workflow analysis with editorial staff and consultants.

Based on this analysis, we will create an XML workflow document that represents the rule set for how people interact with the manuscripts (roles), the different stages a manuscript can be in (queues), and the rights people have with the manuscripts.

The workflow includes all elements of the manuscript process including, but not limited to, roles and rights of authors, editors, associate editors, and staff; editable time-frames for actions, alerts, and letter templates.
